Moroccan Tiles Stencil that will totally knock your socks off!
We'd like you to meet Alli, the proud mama and creative DIYer behind the blog
Diapers-N-Heels. Alli has a long list of home improvements for her house. She recently decided to tackle one room where she feels like she spends a great deal of her time, the laundry room! Alli had a limited budget but when she looked at the space, she realized it really needed a fresh coat of paint and some organization. Here is a picture of the murky beige laundry room before its stenciled makeover:
Yikes! It is pretty dreary. Alli had this to say, "The lighting is terrible in there and it had become the collect all room of all kinds of things and was so cluttered and depressing that I knew this has to be my next project." Alli kicked off the project with a fresh coat of paint on all of the walls. She painted them a color similar to Benjamin Moore's
lemon ice OC-114. Then she stenciled the wall that is opposite the washer and dryer using our
Moroccan Tiles pattern in a cheery shade of blue, similar to
san francisco bay 802. Alli used blue painters tape to keep her stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint on the Moroccan pattern. See the
clip-on stencil level in the picture below? It was her secret weapon to keeping the pattern straight on the wall!
Are you ready to be WOW'd by her makeover? It's amazing what a little color and pattern can do for a laundry room. Alli had this to say about her newly stenciled space, "We loved how great our laundry room turned out using our stencil." We're so happy to hear that Alli is enjoying her space!
