Stenciling a Living Room Accent Wall With The Beads Allover Pattern Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! Are you sick of staring at a living room with empty walls? It's much simpler than wallpaper but the results have the pretty appeal. Today we're going to show you how our Beads Allover Stencil was used freshen up a living room. Come take a look! We'd like to introduce Chelsea, the DIY decor enthusiast behind the blog Checking In With Chelsea. Chelsea has a laundry list of DIY projects to update her home. Freshening up the living room has been on her list for quite awhile now. Here is a picture of her space. A fresh coat of paint is the easiest and least expensive way to give a room a face lift. While Chelsea knew this fact, she hadn't thought of stenciling a feature wall until her friend Sheena over at Bean in Love suggested it. Chelsea browsed our large collection of wall stencils and finally landed on the Beads Allover Stencil, a popular Geometric pattern. Chelsea gave the wall a fresh coat of paint using Benjamin Moore's Simply White OC-117. It also happens to be their Color of the Year for 2016. Once the base coat was dry, she was ready to start stenciling. She used painter's tape to help hold the stencil in place and then painted the contemporary wall pattern in Behr's Dolphin Fin using a dense foam roller. After she painted one section, she would un-tape the stencil and reposition it to stencil a new section. She did this until the pattern was complete on the wall. Once it was all complete, Chelsea moved her furniture back into place and stepped back to admire her stenciled wall. Are you ready to see how it all turned out?
