Interior Decorators Use Stencils To Add Pattern And Depth
Good morning, my stenciling friends! Cutting Edge Stencils is going to shine our stencil spotlight on an interior decorating company, Arlene Best Interiors. She has designed oh-so-many fabulous spaces using our stencils and loves to use pattern to personalize each space. So let's take a look at what makes Arlene Best Interiors super duper special!
Who is the designer behind Arlene Best Interiors?
Her name is Arlene and she is a self made Interior Decorator that has been prettying up rooms for over 20 years. She specializes in color coordination, space planning, and fabric selection. But most importantly, she is an accomplished painter who provides her Clients with a hand painted touch for their space. In our eyes, she's a stencil goddess! Arlene's primary goal is to make beautiful designs that are also affordable. Now let's look at some of her jaw-dropping gorgeous stenciled spaces!
First up is this lovely bedroom that radiates happiness like a ray of sunshine Arlene painted the room a cheerful shade of yellow and then stenciled Funky Wheel wall pattern in a metallic paint. She said, "To create a bit of whimsy in the room, I stenciled the wall behind the bed using a glaze with a hint of metallic silver paint. The wall pattern mimics the circular motif on the bedspread. " We love the glimmer that the subtle geometric pattern gives off on the accent wall. Next up is the Avery Inn Next Door, a bed and breakfast located in Ontario CA. Arlene used her magic touch to help create four elegant suites, two on the main floor, and two upstairs. For the Birch Suite, Arlene created a bedroom that was as serene as a lush forest. She painted the accent wall a soothing shade of beige and then stenciled the Birch Forest Allover Stencil in white. Drift peacefully to sleep in the Cranes Suite. For this luxurious suite, Arlene painted the wall a dreamy shade of gray. Then she stenciled the eye-catching Flock of Cranes Stencil in a shimmery metallic silver. Now if the other two suites are reserved, it's possible the Ginkgo Suite is available! This lovely space has been painted in soft cream hues and stenciled with the Ginkgo Leaf Stencil. Moving on, we're going take a look at a bathroom that certainly provides a breathe of fresh air. Do you spy what we spy in the mirror? Arlene painted our Entwined Allover Stencil in Farrow and Ball's Hound Lemon. This zippy yellow paired with our trendy geometric brings this bathroom together. Tell us, which one of these stencil projects is your favorite? We'd love to read your thoughts, so leave us a comment below! Haven’t had enough stenciling fun?
