We'd like you to meet Long Island artist, Arlene Mcloughlin. She was featured on the Metropolis Paints Blog for a guest bedroom that she painted. Arlene had a Client reach out to her to help transform her guest bedroom into something cozy and inviting. Arlene had the perfect plan in mind and it involved using an allover stencil pattern and Metropolis paint. She browsed our large collection of wall patterns and selected our Acanthus Allover Stencil. This beautiful floral stencil is perfect for adding a classic pattern to walls. Arlene used blue painters tape to hold the stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern. To achieve this look, Arlene applied Lady Vi by Metropolis Paints in a grass cloth finish. Then she stenciled the Acanthus pattern in Money by Metropolis Paints. The paint company had this to say about the stenciled bedroom, "Arlene’s finish transformed this small bedroom into a spectacular space!" We couldn't agree more! Next up, we'd like to introduce a blogger that goes by the writing name, GEB, from The Third Floor Cellar. He was tasked with making a new house into a home. Included in this blank canvas was a guest bedroom. GEB looked over the space and felt that a cheerful paint color and a fabulous stencil pattern would give this space a welcoming look. He chose our Casablanca Allover Stencil, a popular Moroccan wall pattern. Once he was ready to start stenciling, he used blue painters tape to hold the stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern.
