Redecorate A Bathroom On A Budget Using Stencils

Stencil Patterns Add Style To A Bathroom Makeover

Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! Our wall stencils make it easy to create a small bathroom that boasts tons of style. A stencil design is an easy way to freshen the look of dated space without breaking the bank. Today we are sharing a small half bathroom makeover using the Feather Allover Stencil. Let’s take a look... Cutting Edge Stencils shares a before and after shot of a tiny bathroom makeover using the Feathers Allover Stencil. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/products/feather-stencil-feathers-stencils-wall-pattern We'd like to introduce Jackie, the shop owner of Simple Home Life on Etsy and creative DIYer behind the blog Simple Home Life. Jackie wanted to give her half bathroom a makeover but didn't want to invest a ton of money in the update. When she had moved in, she had painted the walls Timothy Straw by Benjamin Moore. She had grown tired of the mustard yellow hue and longed for something a bit more bold and fun. Since the tiny bathroom was lackluster, Jackie wanted to infuse it with pattern. Since she had used one of our wall designs previously, Jackie was familiar with the advantages of choosing Cutting Edge Stencils! She browsed our website for the perfect pattern and finally landed on the Feathers Stencil. Jackie commented, "When I first saw the stencil I knew it would be great and I was picturing exactly how it turned out." This fresh white hue instantly brightened up the space. She painted the bottom section of the wall in a darker charcoal hue using Benjamin Moore Cheating Heart 1617. Then with her feather wall design in hand, she was ready to start stenciling! Jackie placed her Feather Allover Stencil on her bathroom wall. She used blue painters tape to hold the stencil in place on the wall. Then she poured her dark gray paint into a small tray and painted with a dense foam roller. Jackie painted the feather wall pattern in the same charcoal paint that she had used on the lower section of the wall (Cheating Heart 1617).
