Steal The Look: Adorable Kids Rooms
Stencils and Color Combinations to Steal These Adorable Kids Rooms!
Happy Friday, my DIY friends. We recently stumbled upon a new children's interior design site, Petite Vintage Interiors, and we have to tell you that we are absolutely smitten! The owner, Belinda, describes her passion for children's decor as an "Obsession is a strong word, but it’s a fair way to describe the time I spend seeking out beautiful things. " It totally shows because each room is stylish yet fun. So what does Cutting Edge Stencils do when we deeply admire a space? We figure out how to recreate it using our stencils and Benjamin Moore paint colors! Let's get started...Stolen Item No. 1: Cloud Accent Wall
We are floating on cloud nine with this super sweet little girl's room! While we love the color combination and the whimsical decor elements, we feel the cloud accent wall truly completes the look. It gives the space a relaxing, carefree feeling that will hopefully inspire daydreams from the little one.
To STEAL THE LOOK of this dreamy little girl's room, use Cutting Edge Stencils' Cloud Allover Stencil, a cute and whimsical cloud design. First paint the room in a color like Benjamin Moore's sandlot gray. Then consider stenciling the clouds in Benjamin Moore's eraser pink and metallic gold.
Stolen Item No. 2: Nature Inspired Accent Wall
The soothing quality of a tree-inspired design will have your child resting peacefully for many years. To STEAL THE LOOK of this sophisticated boy's room, use Cutting Edge Stencils' Fir Tree Allover pattern. First paint the wall a crisp shade of white like Benjamin Moore's old prairie. Then choose a neutral gray hue like Benjamin Moore's timber wolf 1600 for the whimsical tree stencil. Add in pops of navy and orange for a space that will surely last a little boy for years.
Stolen Look No. 3: Polka Dot Accent Wall
Polka dots may be a trend that comes and goes in fashion, but they are always in style for a little girl's bedroom. This playful and fun geometric pattern is spot on perfect. To STEAL THE LOOK of this pretty polka dot space, use our Polka Dot Allover stencil pattern. To kick off this project, paint the entire room Benjamin Moore's sandlot gray, it's neutral gray with a soft pink undertone. Then stencil the polka dot pattern in Benjamin Moore's eraser pink and metallic gold. Be sure to vary the placement of the pink and gold to get the casual look show above. Oh, and you love the look of that lace-like accent pillow then you will also love how easy it would be to recreate with the Paint-A-Pillow stencil kit featuring the Antico design. The kit comes with everything you need to easily complete the pillow craft.Which of these adorable kids rooms would you be most likely to "Steal"? Leave us a comment below!
