Welcome back my stenciling friends! Cutting Edge Stencils hopes everyone is having a T-riffic Tuesday. We're curious, were you able to complete tons of stencil projects over the long weekend? The stencil spotlight is shining on our stunning Chelsea Allover and some FAB fan projects using this pretty pattern!
Do you love it or do you love it? This gorgeous stencil design is a stylized version of the classic Acanthus leaf pattern. The stencil comes in both a small and large size so it works beautifully on walls, curtains and even pillows!
First up, we have the powder room makeover completed by Sharyn, one of our crafty facebook fans. She painted her powder room in a color similar to Benjamin Moore's cromwell grey HC-103 and stenciled the Chelsea Pattern in a color similar to eggshell 2026-70. It's a sophisticated color combination that compliments the feminine, leafy design. Sharyn said she was "very happy" with the look of her new powder room!
Next we'd like you to meet Marie, the crafty DIYer and blogger behind The Interior Frugalista. Marie has been a busy crafting bee making over her master bedroom. She painted the base of her wall a color similar to Benjamin Moore's heather gray 2139-40. It's a rich mid-tone green with an earthy, organic quality that's warm and welcoming. Then she stenciled the leafy pattern in FolkArt's Wicker White. To top it all off, she crafted a headboard out of an old door (read all about that project here). Her bedroom is absolutely dreamy, don't you think?
And last but not least, we have a project by Sheila. She's the crafting queen behind the blog, Plum Doodles. You might recall some of her other stenciled projects like this Painted French Country Chair or this Stenciled Area Rug. Sheila has slowly been working on a breakfast area/sitting room makeover. She felt that she wanted a little patterned pizazz in the space so she decided to add the Chelsea Stencil. The wall was painted in a color similar to Benjamin Moore's steel wool 2121-20 and the stencil design was applied in a color similar to silver half dollar 2121-40. Once again, she has us in awe of her stenciled work!
