Stenciling with Spring Color Trends
Cutting Edge Stencils Presents Stenciled Rooms Using Spring Color Trends
What's hopin', my
stencil lovin’ friends! We hope everyone had a wonderful successful stenciling weekend! We hate to brag but we've been having absolutely gorgeous weather here in Northern NJ. And of course as the weather has warmed, it seems as though the colors have rebounded back to life. It's everywhere from our gardens, to our wardrobes, and even our homes! Today
Cutting Edge Stencils is sharing Spring color trends in
stenciled spaces that are sure to rejuvenate your spirits and inspire you to stencil.
Let's kick off this colorful stencil fest with one of my Springtime favs, yellow! Yellow is such a bright happy color that it could be considered the perfect color to celebrate the beginning of Spring. It’s cheerful, energizing, and this warm hue never fails to raise spirits and warm hearts like a bright sunny Spring day. Here are some gorgeous yellows that we've seen gracing trendy homes these days; Benjamin Moore's
yellow lotus 2021-50 and
hawthorne yellow HC-4. The lovely yellow kitchen below was painted by
Coach House and to get this little ray of sunshine, we would recommend using
yellow roses 353.
Now if yellow is not quite your thing, but you live for bold colors then you might like it's friendly neighbor, orange. Orange evokes excitement and radiates Spring energy. This room below was sent to us by one of our fans and features our "must have" orange of the season. To get this look use our
Dandelion Stencil in Benjamin Moore's
soft pumpkin 2166-40. It has the perfect creamy undertone and adds an appealing softness to this subtle, almost apricot hue. Gorgeous, right?!
Now if our first two Springtime hues have you seeking cooler climates, we're going to jump to the other end of the color wheel. Bright blue will have you smiling from ear to ear this Spring. To get this look use our
Kerry Damask Stencil in Benjamin Moore's
dream I can fly 769. This rich saturated color is youthful, fun ,and carefree. That's how we like our Spring days!
Don't cringe! You don't need to be bold in your space to fit in this Spring. The gorgeous space below was sent in by one of our fans and uses a trendy shade of lavender. To get this look use the
Anna Damask Stencil and Benjamin Moore's
spring flowers 1430. It's a sweet shade of lavender with a touch of gray. Create your perfect Spring sanctuary!
Now Spring wouldn't be complete without the perfect shade of green! The flowers are blooming, the trees are full of leaves, and there's no better way to represent the season then by adding a bit of Benjamin Moore's
fresh grass 426. A casual, high spirited color is the perfect color complement for this intricate Moroccan pattern, the
Zamira Stencil. Submitted by Jori-Ann, we think her bedroom represents the perfect green for this Spring!
