The Best Stencil Color For A Bedroom

Cutting Edge Stencils Suggests Stencil Colors For A Bedroom

Good morning, my stylish fans! Cutting Edge Stencils wonders how much sleep you got last night? Come on, you can tell us. Did you sleep like a rock through the night or were you tossing and turning for hours? We've all had those sleepless nights where no matter how hard you try, you just can't sleep. Maybe you had that mid-afternoon coffee a little too late in the day or maybe your spouse's snoring has reached an unthinkable decibel. All of these are likely possibilities. But what if we told you a decor decision that you made months ago could be to blame. According to an infographic created by Men's Health, your wall color can help determine your sleep quantity. Of course, we had to put our stenciled spin on this colorful insight so we combined the sleep data along with our stencils.

What color is your bedroom? Now let's see how much sleep you're clocking in at night!

Blue: Feeling blue may not be all bad when it comes to enjoying a good night’s sleep. It turns out that people with blue bedrooms tend to get the best rest with nearly eight hours of sleep each night. We bet Sree, from I Think I Love It, is waking up feeling happy and positive in this beautiful boudoir. She painted her master bedroom walls a color similar to Benjamin Moore’s lucerne AF-530 and then stenciled our Zinnia Grande Flower pattern on an accent wall. A sunny yellow room is not only cheerful, it's likely to get you seven hours and 40 minutes of sleep! Drenched in playful hues and our Zinnia Grande Flower, this bedroom spotted on BHG looks fresh and peaceful. We can see why Stacy, from Not just A Housewife, has sweet dreams each night. Imagine staring at this gorgeous Anna Damask Stenciled ceiling as you drift off. The study also reported that these individuals were more motivated to exercise in their bedroom. Here is a gorgeous example of a silver stenciled bedroom painted by Kelly, from Interiors PL, using our popular Casablanca Allover pattern. Maybe that's why people with orange rooms only get seven hours and 28 minutes of sleep each night. Anita Roll Murals used our Zamira Allover stencil in a tangerine color. We know, we find it hard to believe too! Nina, from Swanky Swell, painted our Birch Forest Stencil as an accent wall behind her bed using Martha Stewart’s Tiger Eye. Gray may be a trendy home decor hue, but the sleepers in gray bedrooms obtain on average six hours and 12 minutes per night. We're totally shocked especially after seeing this peaceful space. Katherine, from KM Decor, painted her bedroom walls a dark gray and then stenciled the Fuji Allover pattern in a soft white. We think it's an absolutely dreamy master bedroom!

Purple: Say it ain't so! The findings are pretty troubling for people who went with those deep eggplant or radiant orchid color schemes in their master bedroom. It's possible the color purple is mentally stimulating which makes it difficult to switch off after a busy day. We're still in love with this Anna Damask Stenciled bedroom painted by Kristen Davis Designs.
