Stenciling An Office Nook With The Trellis Allover

Stencil Patterns To Enhance An Office Nook

Good Morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils fans! It is safe to say we would all love the big, dreamy office where everything has its proper spot. Unfortunately it's just not the case with most homes, but that doesn't mean you need to abandon your organized dreams. A small space, like a closet, a hallway, or a kitchen nook can go a long way. A stencil design is the perfect way to add pattern and personality to your small space. It's easy to get the look of designer wallpaper with our interlocking wallpaper stencils. Today we're sharing a stenciled office nook and the best part about this gorgeous space is that it's located in the kitchen. We'd like you to welcome back Karen, the creative DIYer behind the blog A House Full of Sunshine. Well, Karen has been back at it again and this time she stenciled a little nook in her kitchen. Let's back up and start from the beginning. Karen had this small space located on the side of her kitchen. She was tired of the clutter that was collecting on her kitchen counters and decided to turn that small space into an office nook. To see all the thought and planning that went into this space, please check out her blog A House Full of Sunshine. We're going to focus on the fun part, stenciling! Karen admits that after her previous stenciling experience, she's become slightly addicted. We've heard that can happen! She says, "I love that it gives the look of patterned wallpaper at a fraction of the cost, and because you choose the paint color you can customize it perfectly to your chosen color scheme." She selected our Trellis Allover Stencil pattern. Karen used blue painters tape to hold the stencil pattern in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern. Here she is working through the stenciling process. Ready to see her new office nook? Here it is! Karen had this to say about her new space, "I'm thrilled to bits with how it turned out."
