Since our last post, it appears as though this super trend has only grown bigger! But let's back up for a second. Aare you wondering what faux bois (pronounced foe bwah) is? Simply put, it’s French for “fake wood,” but faux bois sounds way more stylish, so that’s the name we're sticking with. Faux bois designs can be found gracing everything from throw pillows to rugs, and oh so much more. Elle Decor notes,"This traditional rustic motif is suddenly hip, showing up in glamorous new guises and a range of unlikely colors."

We'd like you to meet Sarah, the interior designer and creative DIYer behind the blog Just The Bee's Knees. Sarah had been obsessing over the faux bois wallpaper on the popular home decor websites. Unfortunately the designer wallpaper was way out of her budget. That's when Sarah discovered our Faux Bois Stencil Pattern and realized her designer looking dreams could come true. Sarah started by painting her bathroom wall a soft shade of grey, Sherwin Williams Loggia SW750. Before she started stenciling she watched our detailed how-to videos on our website and then gathered her stenciling supplies. Sarah found our clip-on stencil level to be very helpful during this process, calling it "an absolute must have" tool. Since she wanted a subtle, low contrast pattern, she chose Sherwin Williams Wool Skein SW6148 for the stencil color.
