Cutting Edge Stencils Shares Easy Chevron Craft Projects For the Weekend!

Good morning, my jolly stenciling friends! It is hard to believe that Christmas is less than two weeks away. Cutting Edge Stencils has been so busy stenciling DIY gifts for all our friends, that we've hardly had time to decorate. Are you in the same situation? If your answer is yes then no fear because today we have five awesome chevron DIY projects and the best part is that they are so simple they could be completed this weekend!

Today's project of the day is Chevron Stenciled Christmas Crafts.

Dress up that mantel this year with festive striped cheer! Amanda, from Mommy is Coo Coo, crafted this merry mantel piece using a pattern similar to our Chevron Allover Stencil and a fun paint color, like Benjamin Moore's tricycle red 2000-20. First she started with a 20" by 40" wooden pallet and then she painted her chevron pattern. Once it was dry, she glued on colorful Christmas ornaments in the shape of a tree. Read her step-by- step tutorial here. Amazing, isn't it? The last few weeks leading up to Christmas can be the most fun for children, so why not countdown the days in style! Craft a wooden sign like this one created by Liz and Kevin from IZ & Jojo Designs. Find a 7"x8" piece of wood and paint our Chevron Craft Stencil in bright red and white. Then attach a small chalkboard to the frame and decorate with a green burlap bow! Impress your holiday dinner guests with a DIY stenciled utensil holder! Jamielyn, from I Heart Naptime, crafted this lovely utensil holder using cut pieces of burlap, white craft paint and a stencil similar to our Chevron Craft pattern. We bet her dinner guests can't stop raving about her creativity! This stripey project will have you singing fa la la la la all day long! We spotted this holiday decor accessory on Pillows by Janet, an Etsy shop. But you could easily recreate this using craft paint and our Chevron Craft pattern. Start with a basic white pillow cover and stencil the zippy pattern in traditional red or green Christmas colors! Here is the scoop on how to stencil a pillow cover. Glam up that Christmas tabletop using a gold patterned table runner! We spotted this jaw-dropping gorgeous table runner on Our Crazy Life. Recreate this look by finding a cream colored table runner and stenciling our Chevron Allover pattern in FolkArt metallic gold. And there you have it folks!
