Decorate A Mirror With Christmas Stencils
Use Stencil Patterns On A Mirror For An Easy Holiday Craft
Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! Tis' the season to start decorating your home with pretty lights, shiny garland, and glittery Christmas balls. If you have been searching for simple and inexpensive ways to add sparkle to your home then we have the perfect project using our stencil designs! Today we're sharing a fun DIY project using one of our Christmas Stencils on a mirror. Let's take a look...

We'd like you to meet Chas, an avid crafter and
Hometalk contributor. Chas likes to start decorating for Christmas right after Thanksgiving. Who doesn't? As she turns her space into the perfect winter wonderland, she often looks for quick and easy decorating projects that don't break the bank. That's why when she found a simple mirror at the Dollar Tree, she knew it would come in handy for a project. Chas was given our
Christmas Ornaments Craft Stencil in a size small. This charming
ornament pattern offers so many possibilities for decorating.

Chas cleared her craft space and grabbed her supplies. For this project, she used a mirror she had purchased at the Dollar Tree, the
Ornaments Stencil, Elmers glue, glitter, painter's tape, and a stencil brush. With all materials on hand, she was ready to start
stenciling!

She taped the stencil to the mirror using blue painter's tape. Then she painted the clear glue over the stencil cutout using a paint brush.

The glue was painted over the cutout portion of the design only.

After the stencil cutout was coated with glue, Chas sprinkled silver, black, and white sparkles over the stencil design. The sparkles easily stick to the wet glue.

Chas dumped off the excess glitter, peeled back the stencil, and set the project aside to dry. Are you ready to see how it all turned out?

Chas had this to say about her craft project, "This inexpensive and easy project is sure to add sparkle to your home this holiday season."
