Stephanie has an amazing artistic talent so when she's not painting faces, she loves to craft DIY art. She had an old piece of reclaimed fence wood laying around her house. It was about to go in the trash when she decided to create custom artwork. She set up her crafting station and cleaned off the wood. Then she painted it a dark gray hue using latex paint. She selected the Prosperity Mandala Stencil, a popular pattern that symbolizes opulence, luxury and the good life. Prosperity-Mandala-Decal-Designer-Mandalas-Actual With her gorgeous Mandala pattern in hand she was ready for the fun part, stenciling! Stephanie chose to use the 24" medallion for this project. She placed it on top of the wood. For this project, Stephanie was using white acrylic craft paint as a base color for her stencil. She poured her paint into the paint dish and then evenly loaded the dense foam roller with white paint. Too much paint will cause the design to bleed. Then she painted the mandala design. Inka-Gold Paint is a fast drying metal gloss paint; containing Natural Bees Wax. She applied the paint using a foam stippler brush.
