Erika found an old wooden mirror at a local garage sale. The mirror had a black and white houndstooth pattern that didn't fit Erika's Art Deco style. It's wooden frame meant it had a ton of potential so she scooped it up. After lightly sanding the top, she primed it with STIX primer. For this project, she chose the small Lexington Craft pattern. This Art Deco stencil design makes a bold statement with classic Deco styling for craft size projects. Too much paint will cause the design to bleed. Then she painted the entire pattern on to the mirror. Once the entire design was painted, Erika lifted the stencil back to reveal the striking pattern.
