Stencil Designs Make Crafting DIY Pallet Art Easy and Fun!

Welcome back, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends. Make your walls look beautiful with a piece of art that you crafted yourself. It is very easy to hand-craft DIY wall art using paint, a stencil pattern and an old wooden pallet. A wooden pallet has rustic charm and quite often you can secure one for free. Today we're sharing how you can create your own DIY pallet art using our Feather 6 piece Stencil Kit from the Craft Stencil Collection. We'd like you to welcome back Greg, one of the Cutting Edge Stencils owners and a creative DIYer. Greg had been scouring Pinterest when he fell in love the idea of crafting DIY art using an old pallet and craft stencils. For our visual fans, you're going to love this stencil tutorial that Greg put together. In this short video, he shows fans how easy it is to stencil pallet art using a Feather Stencils. Let's walk through the steps for completing this project. He happen to have an old pallet laying around the office and decided to put it to good use. He used a saw to cut the pallet into six pieces. Greg decided to use our Feather Stencil Kit for this fun project. It's perfect for a project like this because it contains 6 beautifully detailed feather stencils, each with its own unique character. Greg used wood glue to affix the six pieces of wood together. With his feather patterns in hand he was ready for the fun part, stenciling! He carefully taped the stencil down using blue painter's tape. Greg made sure he brushed off any excess paint on a piece of paper towel. Too much paint will cause the design to bleed. He painted the rustic boho stencil with Plaster Paint Simple White using a stencil brush. After each board was painted, he would carefully remove the stencil. Then he would place the next feather stencil on the next board. Greg repeated these steps until all six pieces of wood were painted. Then he stepped back to admire the beautiful pattern on the wood.
