Happy Friday, my DIY pattern spotters! The weekend is almost here and we thought why not kick it off by having a little stenciled fun! Cutting Edge Stencils has been having so much fun playing our patterned version of I Spy (remember Pretty Pattern iSpy and the Red, White & Blue version) that we thought we'd do it again but with a living room twist!
We were browsing the site of one of our favorite home decor magazines, Better Homes & Gardens, when we found these gaw-geous living room design ideas. Now, they say decorating a living room has never been easier as long as you have some good inspiration and I'm not sure we can argue with that! You see, our stencils and their stunning spaces go hand in hand. We've spotted tons of pretty patterns that could easily be recreated using one of our stencils and at a fraction of those designer prices. So lets start spotting some patterns and once you spot'em, we'll show you how to recreate these designer items using our stencils. Here we go!

We knew you'd find'em! Recreating the look of those gorgeous curtains has never been easier than with the help of our Sari Paisley stencil. Choose a simple white panel and paint the paisley pattern in a rich blue tone like Benjamin Moore's admiral blue 2065-10. Then make your own throw pillows using our Missing Link Craft stencil pattern in a moroccan red 1309.

Love the look of everything vintage? Funnel that passion for a vintage-inspired living space by using pieces purchased from consignment stores and antiques shops but giving them an updated stenciled twist. This one is kind of a giveaway, isn't it! Ok, well here's how you can get this look. Create a gorgeous accent wall using our Zagora stencil in a lovely neutral tone like Benjamin Moore's balboa mist 1549. Then reupholster a set of second hand chairs using custom painted fabric. Stencil the fabric using a flower pattern like our Geisha's Garden Stencil in a cheery shade of yellow like banana yellow 2022-40.
