Stenciling A Glass Front Door Using the Ornaments Craft Stencil
Welcome back, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! First impressions are everything so that's why it's important to have an attractive front entrance to welcome family and friends. Stencils are an easy and inexpensive way to give your glass front door some Holiday spirit. Let's take a look at how one of our favorite DIY bloggers used our new Holiday Stencil Collection to give her glass front door a festive update!
Let's visit Molly, the creative crafter behind the blog Just A Little Creativity. Molly stays true to her blog name by constantly sharing creative ideas. When Molly spotted our new Holiday Stencil Collection, her creative wheels started turning. She had the perfect project in mind. Molly writes, "When you're decorating for Christmas, don't overlook your outside doors and windows. Using this unique decorating idea, you can have fun Christmas designs on your glass doors and windows in seconds! "
She took out took out a can of Snow Aerosol Spray and our Christmas Ornaments Tote Size Stencil. The tote size stencil is a larger craft size (17" x 17") so it was perfect for adding a pattern to her front door.
Molly wiped down her door with glass cleaner to ensure it was clean prior to her project. Then she taped the stencil to the windows using blue painter's tape.
Then she filled in the playful ornament pattern using the spray snow. The craft project was simple and easy.
After she had completely covered the stencil with the spray snow, she removed the stencil to reveal a crisp and clean design.
Once it was complete, she stepped back to admire her crafty work. Molly commented, "
This turned out so well on the door."
Molly's creativity was certainly contagious because her Elf on a Shelf decided to use the same concept on their bathroom mirror. We're pretty sure this had her kids chuckling with delight!
