is a brilliant idea because it is not only beautiful but it's also eco-friendly. It brings a bit of history, texture, interest, and warmth to a room.
It’s also super inexpensive and quite simple to make especially when using one of our stencil patterns, like our
Nautical Stencils. Let's take a look at how two crafty bloggers crafted some fabulous wooden art projects using our
stencil designs.
Seahorse Stenciled Driftwood Art
We'd to like to introduce Michelle, the creative DIYer from
Our Crafty Mom. Michelle admits she has a small obsession for accent pillows. She commented, "They can totally change the look of a room. Because I like to change out the living room pillows so often, I have to be creative with DIY ideas and thrifty as well!" That's why she jumped at the chance to review one of our accent pillow kits. She chose our
Seahorse accent pillow kit with a white pillow cover and Jacquard fabric paint in Sapphire Blue. Michelle shares her project on her blog but we're going to talk about the second project she crafted. Yup, she rinsed off her stencil and crafted another project. This time she used a piece of driftwood. Michelle painted the wood using DecoArt Chalky Paint in White. Then she taped her seahorse stencil onto the driftwood and painted it using a dense foam roller in DecoArt Chalky Paint in Escape. To complete her project, Michelle added a cool blue marble. Anchor Stenciled Fence Wood Art
We'd to like to introduce Jennifer and Vicki, the creative duo behind
2 Bees In A Pod. The girls had a friend who was getting rid of some old fence wood. She offered it to them in case they wanted to make a crafty project. She sure does know them well! Jennifer and Vicky happily accepted the discarded wood with the hopes of creating some nautical art for their lake house. They selected our
Anchor Stencil, a traditional nautical pattern. Jennifer and Vicki taped the anchor stencil onto the fence wood and painted it in Americana craft paint using a dense foam roller. To see the complete tutorial, please visit their
