Cutting Edge Stencils shares how to stencil custom canvas artwork similar to Anthropologie using the Otomi Craft Stencil. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/pages/wall-stencils Erika, our in-house stencil guru, was browsing one of her favorite home decor shops, Anthropologie, and she spotted this gorgeous Otomi wall art for $278. Yikes! That's pricey. Otomi wall art sold at Anthropologie was our DIY inspiration. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/pages/wall-stencils The good news is that Erika is both clever and crafty so she decided to steal the look using our medium size Otomi Stencil. To kick off this project, Erika gathered her materials which included at 16"x 20" primed canvas, a white Ikea frame, the craft tribal stencil, a four inch dense foam roller, Benjamin Moore electric orange paint, and gold spray paint. She sprayed the back of the stencil with Sticky Note spray adhesive which can be purchased from your local craft store or Amazon. Repositionable spray adhesive can help hold the stencil in place and reduce bleed.
