Stencil Patterns Add A Dramatic Twist Master Bedroom Decorating

Today we are sharing a stenciled bedroom makeover featuring the Diamond Damask wall pattern. We'd like to introduce Deboshree, the creative DIYer and design enthusiast behind the blog Deesignplay. She had a large master bedroom with a tall vaulted ceiling. It was painted a boring beige hue and Deboshree knew she wanted to give this blah space some wow factor. Here is the room she started with... Deboshree started brainstorming ideas to uplift her dull space. She considered a gallery wall but wanted something more dramatic to cover the wall. That's when she discovered Cutting Edge Stencils. She commented, "I discovered Cutting Edge Stencils on Pinterest and have been obsessed ever since. They carry a wide variety of patterns, from clean geometric shapes to intricate damask patterns." A stenciled wall pattern is an easy and cost effective way to add visual interest to a room. Deboshree browsed our large collection of Damask stencils and fell in love with the Diamond Damask Stencil, a popular damask wall pattern. With her walls painted a light beige and her design in hand, she was ready to start stenciling. She used painters tape to hold the stencil in place on the wall. Then she poured her paint, Rustoleum Black Gloss Paint, into a small tray and painted with a dense foam roller. After each section was painted, Deboshree would carefully un-tape the stencil and reposition. She did this until her entire room was stenciled. Once the stencil was complete, Deboshree stepped back to admire her beautiful work. She put her bedroom decor back in place and was ready to share her amazing project. Let's take a look at how this beautiful bedroom turned out. Deboshree had this to say about her project, " I couldn't be happier with the makeover... can't wait to start on other stencil projects across the house! " We love the bold color combination paired with this classic stencil pattern. She nailed the dramatic look she was going after! Anya her sweet pup seems to love the newly stenciled space.
