Decorate Your Walls With Holiday Stencils

Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! The Holidays are right around the corner and we are ready to deck the halls with stenciled decor! Here is how one of favorite bloggers used one of our Holiday stencils to spruce up her home with some festive Christmas decor. Come check it out... Let's visit Kim, the crafty queen behind Made In A Day. Kim loves decorating her home with easy DIY projects. She commented that she is updating her holiday decor to the new plaid & chalkboard trend that she's spotted on Pinterest. Along with the holidays, Kim has also mentioned that she loves embroidery hoop crafts. She said, " I love embroidery hoop crafts, even though I’ve never tried needle crafting, I just love how those hoops look. They just make great frames! " So lets just say she had the perfect project in mind when she saw our Holiday Stencil Collection. After browsing the new collection, she selected our Fancy Christmas Trees Craft Stencil. Fancy Christmas Trees Wall Art Kim purchased embroidery hoops in various sizes. She planned to customize the hoops with the small and medium Fancy Christmas Trees Craft Stencil. Kim placed the white duck cloth from the hoop on top of cardboard to catch any bleed that might come through the fabric. Then she positioned the stencil on the duck cloth and used painter's tape to hold it in place. Kim used a stencil brush to paint the pattern in acrylic craft paint. She chose to vary the tree colors between charcoal grey, tartan red. After the Christmas trees were painted, Kim embellished the patterns with tiny stars using gold shiny fabric and small white pom poms. Then she set the fabric back into the embroidery hoops. And there you have it! Kim had this to say about her stencil projects, "Super easy and crazy cute!"
