Stencils Can Perk Up A Small Office Space

Moroccan Stencils Can Add A Subtle Pattern To A Small Office Space

Good Morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! Get creative with how you use your closet space by repurposing it for a different need, such as an office or a crafts station. A small space, like a closet, can go a long way and it's becoming more common to turn it into a small office or "cloffices". A wall pattern can give this tiny nook a dose of character and style. Wall stencils are often preferred over wallpaper because they are easier to apply and much more affordable. Let's take a look at a closet turned office space using a popular stencil design. Lura is about to go to nursing school and she was really worried about having a place to study. She already has a craft room where she lets out all of her creative energy but she didn't want her nursing books taking over the space. Since a separate office was not an option, Lura decided to utilize the closet within her craft space. Here is the space after she removed the shelving and patched up the holes: A before shot of a closet turned small office space. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/products/moroccan-stencil-pattern-3 The first thing Lura did was paint the space using Benjamin Moore's Revere Pewter, a beautiful shade of gray that is very soothing. Lura wanted to add a subtle Moroccan stencil pattern to her closet wall. Wall patterns are like wallpaper, as in, they are a great way to add some visual interest to a space but without the hassle or expense. Lura browsed our large collection of wall stencils and selected our Rabat Allover Stencil. She painted the trendy Moroccan pattern in a color similar to Benjamin Moore's simply white OC-117. She used blue painters tape to hold the stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern. Our stencil essentials kit contains all of the supplies needed to complete a project like this one. Here she is working through the process. The bins on the top shelf provide additional storage. For motivation, she hung her diploma. Here is what her stenciled closet turned office looks like now!
