AH-MAZING, right?! Today,

Charlotte Stenciled Porch Floor
Meet Laura, a color enthusiast and diy blogger behind
Whimsical Perspective. Laura has been going through a home makeover process and about a year ago Laura had styled her porch in several shades of brown. But she felt like it was lacking something. Can you guess what? Take a look at her blog and you'll quickly see what it was lacking... color! So Laura decided to go bold with her design style by adding a lace-like pattern in a pretty lavender shade. Using our
Charlotte Stencil she stenciled the porch floor in
Sherwin Williams Duration Exterior Paint (satin finish) in Ash Violet and Eggwhite. GORGEOUS! We love how this painted floor turned out, don't YOU? Even Cooper, her adorable pup, loves this pretty stenciled porch (bottom right)!
Paisley Allover Stenciled Wood Floor
Please pick your jaw up off the stunning Charlotte stenciled floor because we have another beaut of project for you today! Next, we want to introduce you to Carrie, the crafty diy blogger from
Lovely etc. Carrie has a pretty awesome and totally relate-able floor story. She was fed up with her beat-up looking carpet but didn't quite have the funds to put down the pricey hardwood floors that her heart desired. So what did this clever diy girl do? She tore up the carpet and decided to stencil the plywood sub-floor. WHAT? Just wait and see! She chose our
Paisley Allover Stencil and decided to paint it with
Valspar Porch and Floor paint in Chimney Smoke and then painted the border in Crucible. Carrie had this to say once it was all said and done, "LOVE! There will certainly be more painted floors making their way through my house in the not-too-distant future." And we can see why! If she didn't tell us, we would have no idea that this was painted plywood because it looks so gorgeous! Great job, Carrie! To get her inside scoop on how to do this, make sure you read her
post.
