Cutting Edge Stencils shares DIY Halloween craft ideas using stencils to create trick-or-treat bags and accent pillows.http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/haunted-house-tote-stencil-halloween-accent-pillow-stencils.html DIY Trick or Treat Bag We'd like to introduce Stacey, the creative DIYer behind the blog Addison's Meadow Lane! Stacey has two adorable nieces who were in the market for new trick-or-treat bags. Rather than purchase regular old tote bags and because they have a super crafty Aunt, Stacey decided to create DIY treat bags with her nieces. What better way to do that than using our Paint-A-Pillow kit and simple canvas totes. Stacey browsed our Halloween collection and selected the Haunted House Stencil pattern. The kit had everything she needed to create a fabulous tote. Stacey gathered her nieces and started the project. They painted the houses black using a dense foam roller and then filled in details using some eerie looking colors. Creating an awesome trick-or-treat tote was as simple as that! Stacey commented, "They turned out so great." So if you'd like to win a fun Halloween stencil then enter the stencil giveaway on her blog. Valerie writes, "I love decorating for Halloween! And I love decorative pillows!" So Valerie and our Halloween Paint-A-Pillow kits were a match made in heaven. She chose the Pumpkin Patch Paint-A-Pillow kit with a white cover and orange Jacquard fabric paint along with the Witch Stencil and an extra pillow cover in white. Valerie used the dense foam roller to paint her pumpkin design in orange and a stencil brush to paint the stems. Once her stenciled pillows were complete, Valerie stepped back to admire them. She commented, "Isn't this design so cute?" We certainly think so. Valerie is hosting a stencil giveaway on her blog so be sure to enter.
