Stencils Make Crafting Halloween Accent Pillows Simple
Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! Have you been following our Stenciled Halloween/Fall Pillow Challenge? If not you can read about it here and here. Today is the last part of the stenciled pillow challenge using our new Halloween Stencils. So let's take a look at what these crafty bloggers have made!
What is the Create & Share: Stenciled Halloween/Fall Pillow Challenge? Each month Stephanie from Casa Watkins holds a Create & Share competition where she challenges her oh-so creative blogger pals to a friendly little craft-off. This month they chose to partner with Cutting Edge Stencils using our Halloween Accent Pillow Kits. Each participant was able to select one of our new Halloween Stencils of their choice and they were tasked with creating a unique accent pillow. Awesome, isn't it? We think so! Project #11: Whimsical Skull Stenciled Accent Pillow
We'd like to introduce Tiffany, the crafty blogger behind The House Down The Lane. Tiffany selected our Skull #3 Pillow Stencil Kit for her project. She chose to paint the spooky skull pattern in bright apple green and black. After it was dry, she added some whimsical embellishments like a polka dot ribbon, a purple bow, and black tassels. Stephanie had this to say about her project, " Isn’t that awesome? This pillow was such a fun project, and the stencil was SO easy to use!" We think it's totally awesome!
Project #12: Fall Pumpkin Stenciled Pillow
Now we're going to meet Meg, the decorating enthusiast and DIY blogger behind Green With Decor. Meg admits, "I have a slight obsession with throw pillows, and I love fall, so it was only a matter of time before I shared a DIY fall pillow project on the blog." So let's just say when she discovered our Pillow Stencil Kits, it was love at first sight! She selected our Pumpkin Accent Pillow kit for her project and painted the pumpkin pattern in traditional fall-inspired colors. Meg had this to say about her project, " I love this pillow and already want to make a million more for every room in the house."
Project #13: Glow in the Dark Spider Stenciled Accent Pillow
Meet Sydney, the crafty blogger behind Tastefully Frugal. Sydney chose the Spider Accent Pillow Kit with a white pillow cover and black paint. She used the kit to paint the spider pillow. After Sydney stenciled her hand-crafted pillow, she outlined the eerie pattern with Tulip Glow in The Dark Spider Web Paint, googly eyes, and black tassels. She had this to say about her finished project, " In less than an hour I had a fun and spooky spider pillow to join my Halloween Pillow Collection." We think it looks awesome!Project #14: Striped Crow Halloween Accent Pillow
We'd like to welcome back Sara, the creative DIY blogger behind The Shabby Grace. Sara selected the Crow Pillow Stencil Kit with a white pillow cover. She created stripes using painters tape and painted the zippy pattern in black and gray. To embellish the crow pattern, Sara outlined the edge with orange paint and added black tassels. She commented, "Cutting Edge Stencil’s pillow kit is extremely easy and their products are well made.I added this cutie to our guest room as we have some guests coming for the weekend." Let's give a warm hello to Sarah, the make-it-yourself from home gal behind the blog Flourish and Knots. She decided to craft a Halloween pillow using the Crow Pillow Stencil Kit using a white cover and black fabric paint. After she painted the crow pattern, she added some lines from Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Raven” using a fabric sharpie. And just like that she had the perfect accent pillow for Halloween.Project #16: Mean Cat Stenciled Accent Pillow
We'd like to introduce Bonbon, the extremely creative DIYer behind Farmhouse 40. She put a great spin on her stenciled accent pillow. Bonbon selected the Mean Cat Pillow Stencil Kit.
