Stencil Patterns Can Add Style To A Small Laundry Room

Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! Did you know that our floor stencils can offer a quick and easy solution for adding style to your space? Yup, it's true. Our stencil designs can help give a floor a unique look and a pretty floor pattern can really complete a room. Today we’re going to share a laundry room floor that was enhanced with paint and our Santa Ana Tile Stencil. Come take a look... Cutting Edge Stencils shares a DIY laundry room floor makeover using the Santa Ana Tile pattern. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/products/santa-ana-tile-stencil-spanish-tiles-cement-tile-patterns We'd like to introduce Feri, a creative DIY and owner behind Feri Designs. Feri is known for her beautiful antique and vintage furniture makeovers but this time she decided to give her laundry a big dose of style. Stenciled floors have become one of the hottest DIY decorating trends. So Feri wanted to give it a try. She browsed our large collection of tile stencils and selected our Santa Ana Tile Stencil. This Portuguese- inspired pattern brings exotic flair to any floor or wall. It lacked personality and pattern. Here is what it looked like before the makeover. Then she primed the existing tile floor. We like STIX primer for a project like this. She used blue painter's tape to hold her Santa Ana Tile Stencil pattern in place. Then she painted the tile design in white using a small dense foam roller. Feri would lift to reveal the pretty painted pattern. After each section was complete, she would un-tape the stencil and reposition so the entire floor would be painted. If you are recreating this project at home, be sure to roll off any excess paint on a piece of paper towel. Too much paint will cause the design to bleed. Are you ready for the big reveal? Here is the gorgeous stenciled floor in her laundry room. Isn't it spectacular? We think so! This is an amazing example of how you can give a small space in your home some big style.
