Birds of a Feather Are Stenciled Together
Bird Stencils Make Your Home Interior Design Soar Above Others
It's a bird! It's a plane! It's... Wait, we were right the first time; IT
IS A BIRD! Waking up to bird noises in the dead of winter is so much better than being jolted out of bed by an excruciatingly irritating beeping noise from your phone. I was pleasantly surprised by nature's chirping alarm clock this morning, which might explain my hazy dreams of having three feathered friends as pets! Then I thought, why not make my dreams of adorable birds come to life in our customers' homes?!
Cutting Edge Stencils has some of the sweetest little birdie
stencils you have ever seen! Some of our
bird stencils are so lifelike, you'll imagine they are singing to you all day long! Let's take a look at what we have...
Swallowtail Stencil
Swallow-tailed Kites are very striking birds! They have long tails that resemble the blades of scissors, and they rarely flap their wings while they soar through the sky! That is why our
stencil replicating these birds has a forked tail and a wide open wingspan, giving the illusion that it is flying on your wall! This
bird stencil has three layers (on the same stencil sheet) to help you easily paint an intricately detailed design. The first layer (leftmost) is the overall, background shape of the Swallowtail. The second
stencil (in the middle) allows you to
stencil on top of the first layer with a new color for the bird's body and outlining strips of the tail and wings. Layer three allows you to then paint the bird's feathers onto the wings with a third color paint. Swallowtails naturally have white heads and bodies with black wings and tails! However, stencils give you the freedom of painting with the colors of your choice!
Chickadee Stencil
The Chickadee connotes clarity and purity of the soul. These symbolic little birds are visually as adorable as their meaning! They have long, narrow tails, large round heads, and tiny bills. Chickadees are also very curious little creatures, not afraid to eat from a feeder put out by humans! Our
stencil replicating this bird is also a three part-er. The first layer is the background body. Then the cap, bib and wings are added. And finally, the feathers and eyes are painted with the last layer of the
stencil. Chickadees generally have black caps and bibs, white eyes, gray and white wings, and a soft tan belly. Paint these cute little birds with the paint combination that matches your room!
Bullfinches Stencil
Cutting Edge Stencils' Bullfinches might just be the sweetest love birds EVER! This adorable bird couple comes as a packaged deal! The male is even feeding his lady a worm! Sigh... Now that's love! This
painting stencil is a three-step process, just like the other life-like bird designs above. First you'd paint their background colors (you might want to keep in mind male birds are more vibrant), and then you'd apply the next two layers for a few defining details! Feel free to separate these love birds, stenciling them on different parts of the wall, making them long-distance lovers!
Garden Birds Stencil
Our garden birds are less intricate than the above
stencils! To be created, they only require one layer of paint and little to no artistic skill! This stencil includes eight different bird shapes on one overall
stencil sheet! The birds within the
stencil are both perched and flying, giving you a plethora of options to get the design you desire! Paint these birds along with
tree and branch stencils for an added touch of nature, or paint multiple of the flying ones to resemble a flock! The possibilities are endless, and all dependent on your vision of the room!
Can't get enough of our birds?:
