in one of our favorite publications,
DIY Magazine! The best part about this stencil shout-out is that it features one of our blogger friends, Wendy from
The Shabby Nest and her stenciled laundry room.
Let's back up a bit and take a look at that eye-catching laundry room. It all started when Wendy wanted to give her hard-working laundry room a makeover. She said, " Just because a space is hard-working, doesn't mean it can't be attractive too. " Here was her simple and plain space before the makeover.
Wendy started planning her makeover by creating an inspiration board.
Wendy knew that she wanted to add color and pattern to the space. She commented, " I absolutely adore the color green right now. I am also infatuated with trellis patterns. So I decided to add a trellis pattern to the wall with a stencil." We love that idea! Wendy ordered our
Trellis Allover Stencil and picked up a can of Moss Landing by Behr. She used blue painter's tape to hold the stencil in place while she painted the pattern using a dense foam roller. Here's what it looked like after its stenciled makeover.
Wendy says, "I absolutely L.O.V.E the result. It is such a happy space now!." We do too!

And the best part is that it's now being featured in a story called Not Too Shabby on page 76 in the popular DIY publication,
Do It Yourself Magazine! Congratulations Wendy, that is quite the accomplishment!
