Stencil Sighting In Popular Home Decor Magazines!
Cutting Edge Stencils Is Featured in Small Space Decorating and Refresh Magazine
Good morning, my DIY friends! We have a double dose of stencil fun today.
Cutting Edge Stencils spotted two of our gorgeous stencil patterns in
Small Space Decorating AND
Refresh Magazine! Can we get a double high five? We love seeing our stencil patterns featured in popular home decor titles. Let's give the
Trellis Allover and SS a moment to enjoy their decor fame while we look at how they were featured.
Trellis Stenciled Accent Wall by Interior Designer, Kelle Dame
We know you've seen this gorgeous
Trellis stenciled accent wall before. In fact, not only was it featured on our
blog, but it was also highlighted in a home tour on Apartment Therapy. This fabulous space belongs to
Kelle Dame, an Interior Designer and blogger. When Kelle and her husband first purchased the home, the couple had a vision that included a design scheme that would flow from one room to another and the decor also keeps the eye active. Kelle comments in the article, "I love pattern and contrast." That's probably why she chose to stencil such an intricate Moroccan design in black and white across her living room. We think based on its popularity, it's safe to say that we weren't the only ones in awe of this space. You can find this space on pages 16-20 in
Small Space Decorating.
Emerald Sari Paisley Stenciled Entryway
Our next stencil appearance was in the Winter issue of
Refresh Magazine, a Better Homes and Garden's specialty publication. This magazine highlights easy ways to refresh an old home so that you can fall back in love with your space. In this edition, the editors took a scenic tour of the home of Elizabeth and Luke from the
Little Black Door. This stylish home features cheeky color, fabulous furnishings, and unexpected personal touches. Oh, and our
Sari Paisley Allover stenciled right there in the entryway! Elizabeth painted the pretty pattern in an eye-catching shade of emerald green called
Lucky Shamrock by Benjamin Moore. because green is a happy welcoming color, right? Right! I’m pretty sure she read
Stenciling Happy. You can take the full home tour on page 82 of the magazine.
