What’s stencilin’,
my DIY designers? With a little help from
Cutting Edge Stencils, your home’s
interior design will be! I have a feeling that you’re going to fall into a deep infatuation with the
stencil projects featured below. Not only are they stunning but they were all completed by people just like me and you! Yes you heard me right. These stencil projects were not painted by decorative artists, they were painted by a crafty diy’er just like you!
The best part is that we have before and after pictures to show you how a little bit of stenciling can go a long way. So get excited to see the creative things you can do with old furniture and fashionable
stencils! And lets get started on adding a little pop of style and color to your home one stencil at a time!
For example, take this ho hum bedroom with plain white walls shown below. Well Adam, one our stencil fans, transformed his ho hum room into eye-catching beauty using the
Casablanca Allover Stencil. Absolutely stunning! Even Marcus, his eight month old Siamese cat has perked up with the new bedroom design! Use a color similar to Benjamin Moore
kendall charcoal on your wall to get this look.
PS. Love the burnt orange pillow on the bed. I feel adds the perfect pop of color.
Have an old piece of furniture or a fabulous flea market find that needs a little lovin'? That's what Theresa, first time stencler and Cutting Edge Stencil fan, had when she decided to get crafty using the
Paisley Allover Stencil. A little bit of stenciled paint and she has what looks like a brand new designer coffee table. Who would have guessed by looking at it! Another amazing transformation! She had such a positive experience her first time around, that she already has a second table in the works!
We've been talking about walls and tables, but we can't forget to look down! There's that blah looking white rug staring back at you saying give me so love or at least a little color! :) And that's exactly what Lindsay, from
Better After did after she got her
Entwined Allover Stencil. She dragged her lonely looking carpet into the garage and began painting with a metallic gold. After a days worth of work filled with plenty of breaks... ta-da! A beautiful designer looking rug! I don't know about you, but I'm in love with her new space.
Now that you’ve seen some projects completed by everyday people, we'd love to hear what stencil projects you have planned! Leave us a comment below.
Haven’t had enough?
