DIY Indian Inlay Stenciled Frame

We'd like to welcome back Anam, the clever DIYer from the blog Delicious and DIY. Anam was looking for a reason to create wall art when she stumbled upon this simple yet elegant wooden frame. This plain frame had been tossed aside as someone's trash and was soon to be Anam's treasure! She chose to pair it with a large canvas and our Indian Inlay Stencil kit. She used her HomeRight sprayer to paint the canvas. Then using a stencil brush, Anam painted the intricate pattern on the canvas. She painted the wooden frame gold and then affixed it to the canvas. Just like that she had an eye-catching piece of wall art! For more detailed instructions and to enter her stencil giveaway, please visit Delicious and DIY. DIY Indian Inlay Stenciled Dresser

Next up is a fantastic makeover project that we spotted on a blog called Bon Apartment. The upcycling writer behind this fab project goes by the name KraftWerk3R. She had purchased a plain pine dresser from Argos, a British catalog retailer. She painted it white but it was still too bland for her taste. KraftWerk3R commented, "I want my bedroom to have calming teals, blues, and whites like a Greek island village, so I think these colours are a good fit." She bought several shades of blue paint and selected out Indian Inlay Stencil kit, a popular furniture pattern. KraftWerk3R used painter's tape to hold the stencil in place and painted it using a stencil brush. With a little bit of patience, she had this work of art!
