Furniture Stencils Can Revitalize A Tabletop

Furniture Stencils Can Make An Old Table Look Better Than New

Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! Are you looking to turn your old furniture into something wow worthy? Our furniture stencil patterns are a creative solution for freshening up a boring piece. It's also one of the most rewarding and cost-effective DIY decorating projects because it involves a fresh coat of paint and a craft pattern. Today we're excited to share two stenciled table projects that are very inspiring. Let's take a look. Cutting Edge Stencils shares DIY furniture makeover projects using craft stencil patterns. http://www.cuttingedgestencils.com/collections/craft-stencils-furniture-stencils Moroccan Stencils Uplift An End Table We'd like to welcome back Michelle, the creative DIY blogger from Our Crafty Mom. Michelle's father had stumbled upon an old oak end table. Knowing that his daughter is super crafty, he brought it to her house. It was scratched and very worn but had a ton of potential. Michelle admits that she refinishes old furniture because she loves it. She finds the activity to be a stress reliever and loves to see her old pieces go from drab to fab. Michelle sanded it down before giving it a fresh coat of paint. She painted it Bayberry Green using General Finishes Chalk Paint. Rather than stop with a fresh coat of paint, she decided to give it a dose of personality using one of our furniture stencils. Michelle selected the Zagora Craft Stencil and painted the the pretty pattern in Everlasting from Deco Art Americana Chalky Finish Paint. Michelle had this to say about her stencil project, " The stencils from Cutting Edge Stencils can really take a plain piece of furniture to the next level. If I had left this piece solid green, it would be pretty, but I don’t think it would stand out as much as it does now!" They inherited an old Queen Anne table that was worn and needed a little love. Nancy and Melissa painted the tabletop in Graphite by Annie Sloan and the legs in Old White by Annie Sloan. They decided to give the newly painted table a dose of personality using a beautiful flower stencil. After browsing our website, the Chrysanthemum Grande Flower Stencil was selected. They used painter's tape to hold the stencil in place and painted the flower patterns in white, cream, and gray. The creative duo posted on Instagram, "I think it makes the dark table more interesting. I enjoy working with the stencils." We love its one-of-a-kind look!
