Steal These Looks From Zohi Interiors Using Stencils
Stencils and Color Combinations to Steal These Home Decor Looks from Zohi Interiors!
Welcome back, my DIY decorating friends! Cutting Edge Stencils hopes you had a good weekend. Did you spend some time this weekend just hanging around your home checking out home decor sites? We can totally relate. Ever since we stumbled upon Zohi Interiors, we just can't seem to get enough! We love browsing through the site and spotting all the pretty patterns. In fact, just the other day we shared this gorgeous bedroom with a Moroccan wedding blanket on facebook: So pretty, right? Can you spot the pattern in that space that looks an awful lot like our Indian Inlay design? Yup, right there in the corner. That black Bone Inlay side table had us in a trance until we noticed the price tag attached. $675, ouch! It was time to back away from the virtual shopping cart. So that got us thinking about when we told you how to steal the look of some of our favorite Horchow looks using stencils. We are back at it again! This time we're going to use our stencils and Benjamin Moore paint colors to recreate the Zohi Interior items we love. Let's get started...Stolen Item No. 1: Indian Inlay Furniture
Whether you choose to call it Mother of Pearl, bone inlay, or Indian Inlay, we can totally see what all the hype is about. We love the look of inlay crested furniture. So pretty and sophisticated, these strawberry Mother of Pearl Inlay Crested Mirror and Stool are the perfect pieces to create a statement in a home.STEAL THE LOOK: Did you know that mirror carries a $695 price tag? No need to rub your eyes because you read that price correctly. If $695 sounds like it's outside your price range (just a little) then we got your back on this one! Shelley from Crazy Wonderful built one but if that's stretching your skills then buy a plain mirror like this one from Ikea. Paint it using Benjamin Moore's pink blossom 2081-40 and stencil it using our Indian Inlay Stencil Kit ($34.95) in Benjamin Moore's white opulence 879 to get a similar look.
Stolen Item No. 2: Sheridan Home Office
Who doesn't love a little color and zig-zag in their bedroom? You know we do! That's why it was love at first sight when we spotted this bedroom! It's the perfect space to catch some zzzs thanks to some of these gorgeous decor items, like this striking turquoise bed side table with a zippy chevron pattern.STEAL THE LOOK: That pretty little bedside table comes with a not so pretty or little price tag. Don't let this get you down. We're totally confident that we can recreate it for a fraction of the price. You can either upcyle your old bedside table or purchase a new one from a thrift store. First, you'll need to paint the item in Benjamin Moore's amsterdam AF-550. Then paint our Chevron Craft Stencil ($21.95) in a soft white hue like Benjamin Moore's white dove OC-17.
Stolen Look No. 3: Chevron Wall Art
Staring might not be polite but the second we spotted this dining room, we couldn't help ourselves. The contemporary giclee chevron print is quite the art statement. Simply put, it's gorgeous. But one piece of wall art can cost $499. Ouch!STEAL THE LOOK: Don't hide under the table after seeing that price tag. You could recreate that stunning wall art using stencils for a fraction of the cost. To steal this look, use our Ikat Zig Zag ($39.95) in various paint colors like Benjamin Moore's mysterious AF-565, eternity AF-695, and moroccan spice AF-295.
