Stencil Spotlight: Matter Boutique
Cutting Edge Stencils Shares Room Ideas by Matter Boutique
Good morning, my stenciling friends! Today Cutting Edge Stencils is going to shine our stencil spotlight on a repurposed furniture boutique in Georgia called the Matter Boutique. They caught our eye and captured our hearts with their oh-so-many fabulous pieces of furniture using our stencils. Come join us as we take a look at what makes Matter Boutique super duper special!
Who are the masterminds behind Matter Boutique?
It's a husband and wife duo, Jay and April. Together they create stunning pieces of furniture that incorporate gorgeous patterns and bold color combinations. On their site they mention, "We absolutely love when unloved pieces find life and love again in a new home!" Now let's look at some of their jaw-dropping gorgeous stenciled items!
First up is this eye-catching wardrobe. If the Sunkist orange doesn't put a smile on your face then maybe the unexpected cobolt blue Zamira Craft pattern stenciled on the top will! This entryway bench would be sure to WOW your guests when they enter. The Matter Boutique painted this beauty red and then stenciled it using the Covington Allover pattern in black. We bet you would never guess these end tables used to have an 80’s glass grid insert on the top! Jay and April replaced the glass inserts with old shelving from a TV armoire. These recycled, reimagined side tables were topped off with our awesone Tribal Arrows Stencil pattern! We're certain the owner of this stenciled table is ready for entertaining! This rustic farm table was painted blue and then stenciled with the Indian Inlay Stencil kit in white. This 1960's wardobe received a large dose of color and a surprise splash of pattern using our Cascade Allover stencil on the inside cabinet doors! We think it turned out lovely. We love seeing a pretty pattern painted on the back of a bookcase. The Matter Boutique duo painted our Marrakech Trellis Allover pattern on this upcycled cutie. Tell us, which one of these stencil projects is your favorite? We'd love to read your thoughts, so leave us a comment below! Haven’t had enough stenciling fun? Thanks for reading, and happy stenciling! Michelle and the Cutting Edge Stencils Crew
