The Peacock Feather Stencil Is The Perfect Background for a Gallery Wall

Happy Friday, my stencil lovin' friends. Cutting Edge Stencils has been lusting over the incredible gallery walls we keep spotting on Pinterest. A gallery wall is an easy way of displaying all those things that matter the most—family portraits, unforgettable trips, treasured letters. Nothing completes a home more than having all these keepsakes in one organized location. But before you go gathering up those precious memories, we're going to share some gallery ideas using our Peacock Feather Allover stencil as a background pattern. We'd like to welcome back Meg, the creative gal behind the blog Skinny Meg. Meg is constantly updating the spaces in her home with DIY projects. Recently up on the project list was her master bathroom. Last year, she gave it a major overhaul when she installed a new granite counter and sink, tiled the shower, and put in new flooring. Once it was complete, she decided she didn't care for the wall color. So Meg found a warm smokey gray that was perfect for her new bathroom. The walls around the tub are large and they felt bare once the space was painted. Sine Meg is a big fan of stenciling (remember her home tour), she chose to paint the Peacock Feather Allover in a creamy white. Meg used painter's tape to hold the stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint on the pretty pattern. To finish off the wall, Meg hung a collage of her family with messy hair. Meet Heather, the creative blogger behind Someday My Favorite. Heather had renovated her basement and it left her with large blank walls in the starwell that led to it. The perfect canvas for a wall pattern or gallery or both! Heather fell in love with the Peacock Feather Allover and chose to paint it in metallic gold craft paint. Her husband stepped in and helped her stencil the accent wall. He used painter's tape to hold it in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern. Once the stencil was dry, she strategically hung seventy-three gold frames with family photos and hand-crafted artwork.
