Meet Kelly, who is the proud mama of Presley May, a bouncing baby girl. She posted her adorable navy, coral and yellow room on the popular nursery site, Project Nursery. This was Kelly's first child and she wanted the space to be super special and slightly over the top. When she found out she was having a girl, she started to look for color schemes. Her style for this space was vintage with a colorful and modern twist. Kelly and her husband began the project by painting the walls Benjamin Moore's down pour blue 2163-20. They wanted to create an accent wall behind the crib so they painted it Behr's Country Dairy, then stenciled it with our Casablanca Allover Pattern in Benjamin Moore's down pour blue 2163-20. The rest of the room was pulled together with various DIY projects that Kelly had spotted on Pinterest. Kelly says, "my favorite element would have to be the accent wall which was hand painted by my husband." We love the way she mixed patterns and color to create this stylish nursery!Pink & White Stenciled Nursery
Next up, we want you to meet Inbarits, the proud mama of Emma, a lovely baby girl. Just like Kelly, she posted her adorable pink and white room on the popular nursery site, Project Nursery. Inbarits admits that she is slightly obsessed with the classic Houndstooth pattern. When she spotted a little boys room on Project Nursery that had been stenciled with her fav design, she knew it would be perfect for her daughter's room. She chose a traditional pink and white color scheme for the space, using colors similar to Benjamin Moore's full bloom 2001-50 and butterfield 897. She says," My favorite item in the room is definitely the Houndstooth wall." We just love the look of this room! Tell us, would you add a stenciled accent to your nursery? Leave us a comment below.
