Making A White Bathroom More Colorful With A Stencil

Stenciling A Bathroom With The Marrakech Trellis Allover Stencil

Good morning, my Cutting Edge Stencils friends! White is the usual go-to color for a bathroom in new homes. Stencils are a great way to bring some vibrant color and pattern into a plain bath, no matter what your budget. They are easy to apply, can be customized to the space, and super affordable! Let's take a look at how one DIY blogger used paint and our Marrakech Trellis Allover Stencil to add a pop of color to her white bathroom.

We'd like you to meet Allison, the creative DIYer behind the blog A Glimpse Inside. Allison has been working on a major bathroom overhaul. When she purchased her home, the upstairs included a small apartment with a kitchen. The kitchen was dated and dark. Since there was no need for a second kitchen and it was near the master bedroom, Allison decided to transform the space into a master bathroom. She walks her readers through the entire process on her blog but we're going to give you a snapshot of her stenciling process. Here is what the kitchen (about to be turned into a bathroom) looked like before the makeover. Allison completed a series of projects like painting the walls white and adding new floor and wall tiles. The new space was white. In fact, her contractor kept teasing her that everything was just too white. Allison said, "I kept telling him that I wanted the room bright since it wasn't that large and that I had plans to add color." She's one smart cookie! She was going to add color and pattern to her bathroom using a wall stencil. Allison had our Marrakech Trellis Allover Stencil from a previous project. It was the perfect pattern for her new space! After she painted each section, she would carefully remove the stencil to reveal her pretty Marrakech Trellis Allover Stencil pattern.
