Susanna and her husband planned to focus on the exterior of their home. They had a long list of DIY projects, one of which included enhancing the walkway. Unfortunately, removing the current walkway and replacing it with stone or brick was not at an option. But Susanna is extremely clever and decided to paint the walkway to give it a faux brick look using a stencil pattern! She browsed our large collection of geometric stencils for a brick pattern and selected our Herringbone Brick Stencil. This trendy pattern makes hand-crafting a faux brick pattern super easy. She let it dry over night and began the stenciling the next day. She used blue painters tape to hold the stencil in place and a dense foam roller to paint the pattern. Here she is working through the process. After each section was complete, Susanna would un-tape the stencil and reposition so she could paint the entire cement walkway.
