Well if you happened to be watching on July 20th, then we're sure you spotted our stencil patterns prettying up a concrete balcony floor in a budget friendly makeover. But just in case you missed it, let's rehash the juicy details of our stencil spotting on CityLine! What is CityLine? For all of our non-Canadian residents, CityLine is an very popular morning TV program in Canada. Sharon Grech is a DIY and Benjamin Moore color expert who appears on the well known show. In this specific segment, Sharon shows fans how she easily added a pretty pattern to her cement balcony using the Medina Tile Moroccan Stencil and Benjamin Moore's Floor and Patio Paint. The Inside Stenciled Scoop: DIY Stenciled Patio Sharon Grech was excited to share her five steps to create an outdoor oasis for even in the smallest space! Sharon kicked off this exciting project with a splash of color and pattern using our the Medina Tile Stencil on the concrete balcony floor. Sharon loves the idea of using a wall stencil to add a pattern to a bare concrete balcony. Watch this short clip as she shares how to paint a stencil on concrete. Let's walk through her project in more detail. Sharon lined up the stencil and used a removable spray adhesive to help hold her stencil in place on the concrete balcony. She loaded up her dense foam roller with Benjamin Moore's floor and patio paint. Then she began painting the Moroccan inspired tile pattern in Benjamin Moore's Ebony King. After the stencil was painted, she peeled the stencil away revealing the pretty pattern. Sharon then lined up the stencil pattern to complete the entire floor. And here is what the stenciled concrete balcony looks like when it's complete. Cityline commented, "All it takes is a beautiful stencil + some paint to make this DIY Moroccan-inspired concrete floor!" We think she did an amazing job stenciling the Medina Moroccan Tile Stencil pattern in Benjamin Moore's paint!
