HGTV Uses Wall Stencils In A Budget Friendly Basement Makeover

Leave It To Bryan, have once again used our

Leave It To Bryan: What The Smell
In
Leave it to Bryan homeowners get a much needed reality check in the ultimate renovation tug of war between wants and needs. Veteran contractor Bryan Baeumler chooses a space based on the biggest need and takes the blah space to ooh la la. In this particular episode John and Taylor are tired of upgrading their home for prospective buyers and not for themselves. Excited to get Bryan in to help them renovate their forever home, letting go of control is going to be a hard sell. Our Canadian fans can watch the episode

Inside Stenciled Scoop
The creative designer and stylist for HGTV Canada,
Laura Lynn Fowler, has used our
wall stencils in previous episodes of Leave It To Bryan to pretty up a space on a budget. When the opportunity came up in Season 7, she jumped at using our stencils again. Laura browsed our large stencil collection and felt the
Tribal Arrows Allover Stencil and the
Coco Trellis Allover Stencil would be perfect for her next project. While working on the project, Laura posted on Instagram, "Girls on set. Working some stencil magic in this very chic, expansive space. "
The Leave It To Bryan team got together and transformed John and Taylor's basement from an unusable space into a playroom and movie room. The couple had a very tasteful and elegantly designed living space upstairs. They wanted the basement to have have a similar design feel yet provide a place for the family to spend quality time.
For the media room, the walls were painted in Sherwin Williams Repose Grey and the oversized
trellis wall pattern was stenciled in Sherwin Williams Talc Powder.
The other half of the basement was transformed into a fabulous playroom for the couple's kids. Laura says, " This gorgeous teepee, lovingly crafted by the homeowner's sweet southern gramdma, was the easy inspiration for this playroom. I know you're going to ask - this is called the
Tribal Arrows Stencil from Cutting Edge Stencils. Love? Love!"
This pretty playroom was painted in Sherwin Williams White Batten and the fun
arrow wall pattern was stenciled in Sherwin Williams Web Grey.
