If you follow Cheryl's blog then you are well aware that she loves to give old furniture and décor new life so that it can be reloved once again. Cheryl had stumbled upon this lovely wooden side table at a thrift store. It was dark and dated but it had an interesting shape. Here is what it looked like after she refinished it. This cleaning spray helps get ride of the dirt and grime so the paint can adhere better. Then she gave it two coats of Rethunk Junk Paint in Blue Lace, a pretty blue-gray hue. The fresh coat of paint already made such a big difference on the two-tiered end table. To further enhance its character, she decided stenciling was the way to go. Our stencil patterns are the perfect way to add a splash of personality to an old side table. She browsed our large collection of furniture stencils and fell in love with our Gratitude Mandala Stencil. This pretty pattern is sure to make a statement on any piece of furniture! She placed the stencil on top of the table and used blue painter's tape to hold it in place. She dipped the stencil brush into paint (Rethunk Junk Paint in Linen White) and then painted the design. Too much paint on your stencil brush will cause the design to bleed.
