Hope all my stenciling friends are having a T-riffic Tuesday! Do you remember when we chatted about The Glamour of India Home Decor Trend?
So gorgeous it's hard to forget, right? It was then that Cutting Edge Stencils had a gut feeling that we'd be seeing more and more of our paisley patterns. Just look at those paisley inspired emerald earrings! And boy were we right. Just last week we stumbled upon a couple projects using latest paisley design, the Sari Paisley Stencil!
What is the Sari Paisley Allover Stencil?
It's an allover version of our popular "Sari Paisley" and it makes for a stunning accent wall in any room! This traditional ethnic stencil design is also perfect for curtains, furniture and craft projects. Why you might ask? Well you know that glamorous Indian look you were just oohing over before. Well this stencil brings an instant exotic flare to your space with this intricate Indian pattern. Oh yeah and it's super easy to use!

Meet Elizabeth, the diy craftster and blogger behind the little black door. Elizabeth was working on freshening up her foyer. She chose Lucky Shamrock by Benjamin Moore because well green is a happy welcoming color, right? Right! I'm pretty sure she read Stenciling Happy. Anyway, she figured out pretty quickly that using stencils was easy way to get the look of wallpaper for a fraction of the price. Elizabeth gives some tips and tricks to using the Sari Paisley Stencil that she learned along the way on her blog. Once she got the stenciling down pat, she finished up this space in no time. And WAHLA! Look at that stunning shamrock green foyer!
Our next project is just as stunning at Elizabeth's foyer. Meet the Amy, the Momma Hen from Momma Hen's Coop, a thrifty diy blog. Amy longs for designer curtains but not for those designer price tags. And as I mentioned she is a super creative d- it-yourselfer. So when faced with a problem like covering up those large window panels, she looked to stencils to give her that designer look! Amy gives the inside scoop over at the coop on how she painted her curtains using the Sari Paisley Stencil. But I can tell you it was as simple as basic curtains, some paint, and our Sari Paisley Stencil. She says, "Four panels later I had the curtains that were perfect for me!" GORG! Don't you think?
